Education: Graduate/ Postgraduate in supply chain management
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate invoicing and timely payment reconciliation with vendors and transporters.
- Ensure GST compliance across all operational transactions and documentation.
- Streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Own the operational P&L and drive profitability through cost optimization.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective order fulfillment and vehicle placement.
- Negotiate commercial terms to improve service quality and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee transporter onboarding and transportation planning across regions.
- Monitor vehicle movement, scheduling, and breakdown resolution.
- Coordinate daily with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage warehouse operations, labor deployment, and contractor performance.
- Track operational KPIs and performance using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Identify and implement process improvement and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
- Hands-on experience managing vendor invoicing and ensuring timely payment reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of GST compliance and operational documentation processes.
- Experience tracking vehicle movement, transportation scheduling, and resolving transit-related issues.
- Proven ability to manage, and coordinate transporters for local and pan-India logistics operations.
The individual will oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring efficient vehicle placement, shipment movement, and timely order fulfillment. The role involves coordinating with transporters and vendors, managing invoicing and GST compliance, negotiating commercial terms, and monitoring operational performance through Google Sheets and Excel. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, manage warehouse, labor, and contractor operations, review operational P&L, resolve day-to-day operational challenges, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance service levels, optimize costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
