Our nurses provide individualized care for our residents in our supervised living homes, along with medication management, medication administration, hands-on care to patients, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining accurate records and making physician recommendations.

Duties include

  • SOC Start of Care
  • Evaluation
  • Coordination of care with community health providers
  • Other duties assigned
  • On site injections as applicable
  • Diabetes management
  • Educate patients on medication and disease management

Qualifications

  • Active (unrestricted) nursing license in the State of Texas
  • 1 year in the past 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in home health
  • Valid Drivers’ License with clean DMV search Ability to pass a federal background check
  • Ability to pass abuse registry search

Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to finger; handle; reach with arms and hands; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds in order to assist in life skills. Specific vision abilities may include close vision; color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to outside weather conditions while working with residents. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
