Assistant Manager Warehouse (F/M/D)
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material issuance, order fulfillment, and dispatch activities.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliation, and adherence to inventory management best practices.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage, loss, and non-conformities.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel, including work allocation, performance management, training, and capability building.
- Drive Operational Excellence through Kaizens, Best Catches, and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Implement and monitor new systems, processes, and technologies to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory visibility, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards, maintaining a safe, organized, and housekeeping-compliant workplace.
- Prepare and analyze warehouse performance reports, investigate inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality/Lab, Logistics, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless material flow and meet customer and business requirements.
- 10 + years Basic degree preferably with MBA in Operations/ Supply Chain Management with specialization in warehouse domain.
- Mandatory Working knowledge of the WM module in SAP.
- Proficiency in local language and English, with strong communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
- Excellent supervisory abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
