Job Description
The Project Manager to lead projects from initiation to successful completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects while ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines. Responsibilities typically include project planning, stakeholder coordination, budget management, risk mitigation, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Drive expansion of project business across the East Region.
Identify and develop new project opportunities and strategic accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with End Users, Panel Builders, OEMs, Contractors, Consultants, and key decision-makers.
Manage project lifecycles from opportunity identification through order closure and execution support.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical and commercial solutions for customer requirements.
Ensure achievement of assigned business, sales, and order booking targets.
Monitor project profitability and maintain prescribed margins.
Conduct regular market mapping and identify potential customers and upcoming projects within the region.
Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with customers to secure profitable business.
Develop and maintain project pipelines and provide accurate forecasting and business planning.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, and service teams to support successful project execution.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to enhance business opportunities.
Prepare periodic reports on project status, forecasts, target achievement, and business development activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics preferred) or equivalent.
MBA in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.
7-10 years of experience in Project Sales within the Electrical, Switchgear, Automation, or Industrial Solutions industry.
Proven experience handling project business in the East Region.
Experience working with End Users, Panel Builders, OEMs, Contractors, and Consultants.
Strong technical knowledge of Switchgear and Automation products.
Understanding of project sales cycles, tendering, and commercial processes.
