Associate - Supplier Master Data

The Opportunity

Avantor is looking for Associate - Supplier Master Data who can be a part of the team, with the primary objective of providing services to the Master Data team and to coordinate and support the team.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

  • Complete training and get certified on process/processes within the stipulated timeframe
  • Adhere to the workflow instructions/standard operating procedure provided by the business
  • Complete all assigned tasks as per Service Level requirements specified by the business and meet/exceed key performance parameters
  • Liaise with both internal and external customers and provide resolution with a customer centric approach
  • Verify data and maintain data to ensure compliance with the various rules and work closely with the European Master Data Team
  • Ensure data checking to meet agreed business deadlines
  • Check and control articles files to have the correct data loaded into the SAP system
  • Checking and approving of single article in SAP system
  • Support the Price Review Process for PRP 3 suppliers
  • All related projects on data quality improvement

Qualifications (Education/Training, Experience And Certifications)

  • Minimum of a graduate Degree in any stream
  • 2–5 years of direct experience managing Supplier Master Data or working in a MDG environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity of basic knowledge in the instrument and chemicals are needed
  • Efficiency in a deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent assignments
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
  • Adhere to company’s Policies, procedures, rules and guidelines
  • Always uphold company’s culture and values
