As the Deputy Director - Category Demand Management, with 5.0-9.0 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing demand for specified categories within the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of strategic and operational tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient and effective management of category demand to meet business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive category demand in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in category demand.
  • Drive demand forecasts and own planning across all levels for the category.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability to meet demand requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze category demand performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of demand management strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on category demand trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in category demand planning and management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of category demand management processes.
