Purpose of the Role
The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing frontline Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) while driving sales growth across assigned territories. The role focuses on strengthening distribution, maximizing market penetration, enhancing customer acquisition, and ensuring the achievement of key business objectives through effective stakeholder and channel partner management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen the distribution and sales network by expanding SIM and Data-selling outlets across the assigned cluster.
- Drive market share growth, customer acquisition, and sales of high-value products and digital offerings.
- Develop and execute monthly business plans based on market insights, competitive analysis, and performance trends.
- Manage channel partners to improve distribution effectiveness, channel profitability, and partner satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of Territory Sales Managers to deliver business targets and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Market Communications, and Customer Service teams to achieve business KPIs.
- Monitor competitive activities and provide actionable market feedback to support business strategies.
- Coach and develop team members, preparing them for larger responsibilities and leadership opportunities.

- MBA / PGDM from a recognized institute.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Telecom, FMCG, Consumer Durable, Retail, or other related industries.
- Proven track record in sales, distribution management, and team leadership.
