We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Purchase Executive to join our dynamic procurement team in Visakhapatnam, India. - Manage daily purchasing activities and procurement requests in alignment with organizational requirements and approved budgets
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality products that meet organizational standards
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with approved vendors and suppliers, ensuring transparent communication and mutual accountability
- Obtain quotations, analyze pricing structures, compare vendor proposals, and prepare comprehensive purchase recommendations with detailed cost-benefit analysis
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, specifications, and approved vendor lists while maintaining meticulous documentation
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, product quality, and service levels; address discrepancies promptly and decisively
- Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement innovative sourcing strategies to optimize procurement efficiency
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs, clarify specifications, and ensure timely fulfillment of purchase orders
- Maintain organized records of vendor information, contracts, pricing agreements, and procurement history for easy reference and audit purposes
- Resolve vendor-related issues with professionalism and resilience, finding collaborative solutions that benefit all parties
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain operations, or vendor management within a corporate or hospitality environment
- Proven expertise in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management with a track record of securing favorable terms and maintaining supplier partnerships
- Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures, procurement policies, cost control methodologies, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in sourcing various categories of materials, including food and beverage supplies, operating equipment, housekeeping supplies, and engineering materials
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong data analysis capabilities
- Experience with procurement systems, ERP software, or inventory management platforms (preferred)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of budget management, cost analysis, and financial acumen
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments while maintaining individual accountability and initiative
