About- The University of Mysore was established on July 27, 1916. It is the sixth oldest in the country and the first in the state of Karnataka. Also, in a sense, it is the first university in the country to be established outside the limits of British India. Eligibility/Qualification–
- For Engineering Stream
- For Science stream
- Laboratory Teaching Assistant – Experience in the industry with relevant discipline in Bachelor of Engineering.
Candidates possessing eligible qualifications as per AICTE and University norms are called to submit applications for Temporary Full-time Faculty and Laboratory Teaching Assistant for the academic year 2022-23 at Mysore University School of Engineering, Mysuru.
This is a temporary arrangement for the present academic year, 2022-23.
The work carries an honorarium, as detailed below.
1 Temporary Full-time Faculty with Ph.D. for Engineering streams (For 16 hours of teaching per week) Rs.50,000/- per month 2 Temporary Full-time Faculty without Ph.D./ NET/ SLET (For 16 hours of teaching per week) Rs.35,000/- per month 3 Laboratory Teaching Assistant Rs.15,000/- per month
How To Apply-
Candidates should submit the application through online (website www.soeuom.in) in the prescribed format available on University Website. The recruitment process will be through a written examination followed by an interview. The applicants will be shortlisted for an interview based on their performance in the written examination in 1:5 ratios depending on the requirement of the posts. All the Original Certificates of the candidates are to be verified on the interview date.
Note: Hard copies of applications will not be entertained.
Separate applications are to be submitted for each subject if the candidate is applying for more than one subject.
Last Date for Submission of application online 14-10-2022 Date and Time of Written test Will be notified on the Website Venue Mysore University School of Engineering, Manasagangotri, Mysuru. Date and Time of Interview Will be notified on the website
