About Us

Kisah Apparels Private Limited is a fast-growing fashion brand redefining men's ethnic wear with a strong presence across leading online marketplaces and D2C channels. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor procurement of fabrics and trims/accessories.
• Generate purchase orders based on production requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track and maintain raw material lead times.
• Ensure quality and quantity compliance of incoming materials.
• Coordinate with vendors for processes such as printing, dyeing, and embroidery.
• Maintain accurate procurement and merchandising data using MS Excel.
• Negotiate effectively with suppliers to achieve cost and delivery targets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Desired Skills

• Strong understanding of garment merchandising and sourcing.
• Knowledge of fabric processing, printing, dyeing, and embroidery.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
• Self-driven with a problem-solving mindset.
