Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in accordance with the college curriculum.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, workshops, and practical sessions that promote critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Supervise and mentor students on dissertations, research projects, and internships.
- Engage in scholarly research, publish papers in reputable journals, and present findings at conferences.
- Participate in curriculum revision, program accreditation activities, and academic committees.
- Provide academic counseling and support to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with industry professionals and legal institutions to enhance experiential learning opportunities.
- Perform administrative duties such as examination setting, grading, and faculty meetings.
Essential Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Law (or a recognized equivalent qualification).
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one major area of law (e.g., Constitutional, Criminal, Corporate, International Law).
- Eligibility for appointment as Associate Professor as per University Grants Commission (UGC) norms in India.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is an advantage.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2- 5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in a recognized university or college.
- Track record of research publications in peer‑reviewed journals or reputable legal forums.
- Experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
- Active involvement in professional legal bodies or associations.
