Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure phases.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Define and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Secure and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and achieve project goals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and solutions to address potential challenges.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with all project stakeholders, including senior management, team members, clients, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular status reports.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
- Support business development activities by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, PRINCE2) and tools. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
