Your Role

  • Serve as a key member of the Supply Chain Maintenance team in Mumbai, safeguarding life science manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain, inspect, and repair a wide range of electrical systems and equipment, including diesel generators, transformers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and electrical panels.
  • Maximize equipment uptime by proactive maintenance, rapid diagnostics, and effective fault isolation.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards through disciplined work practices and documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to embed Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) culture.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and maintenance processes.
  • Drive energy optimization and cost reduction through automation, monitoring, and optimization of electrical systems.
  • Prioritize safe working practices and risk mitigation to protect personnel and ensure consistent operations.

Who You Are

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • You bring hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, including diesel generators, transformers, electrical panels, and variable frequency drives.
  • You have a solid understanding of local and national electrical safety regulations and ensure all work is performed in full compliance with applicable standards.
  • You are experienced in maintaining accurate maintenance records, logs, and technical documentation.
  • You have contributed to or supported continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • You demonstrate a proactive approach to energy optimization, including experience with automation-based solutions to reduce energy consumption.
  • An Electrical Supervisor License or equivalent certification is an advantage.
