As an Associate in Category Management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing product categories to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction. Leveraging your 2 to 15 years of experience, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, understanding consumer behavior, and working closely with vendors to curate and manage an effective product assortment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop category strategies and plans that align with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of category performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activities to drive sales and profitability.
  • Optimize product assortments by monitoring inventory levels, sales performance, and customer feedback.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of category initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

In this role, your ability to analyze data, make strategic decisions, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to drive category growth and achieve business objectives. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the organization by optimizing product offerings, enhancing customer experience, and driving revenue through effective category management strategies.
