Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotational training across multiple departments such as production, quality assurance, maintenance, and process engineering to gain a holistic understanding of steel manufacturing operations.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing production processes to identify areas for efficiency improvement and waste reduction.
  • Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot operational issues and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to process parameters, equipment performance, and quality metrics.
  • Engage in continuous learning through workshops, technical sessions, and on-the-job training to enhance engineering knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of process improvement projects aimed at optimizing production output and product quality.
  • Assist in the maintenance planning and execution to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment functionality.
  • Support data collection and analysis for process control and quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to understand business objectives and align engineering activities accordingly.
