- Conduct daily safety inspections and monitor worksite compliance with safety standards.
- Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Contribute to a proactive safety culture to enhance project performance.
- Promote safety initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Support continuous improvement in EHS practices at the project level.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and workers to ensure compliance with EHS protocols.
- Communicate safety requirements and corrective actions to project teams.
- Provide input to EHS Manager for incident reporting and resolution.
- Provide EHS induction and training to project personnel, contractors, and visitors.
- Foster awareness of safety procedures and guidelines among the workforce.
- Act as a role model for safety practices and promote a culture of teamwork.
- Assist in mentoring junior EHS staff and contractors on site-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.
- Support the investigation of incidents and near misses, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Verify the use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.
- Maintain and update EHS documentation, including checklists, permits, and records.
