Techdome is a fast-growing Product Venture. As an HR Operations professional, you'll own the day-to-day people operations that keep a scaling tech team running smoothly — from onboarding new engineers to managing HR systems, compliance, and the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end employee lifecycle operations: onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and exit/offboarding formalities.
- Maintain and update the HRMS/HRIS (Keka), employee records, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer attendance, leave, and time-tracking; coordinate monthly inputs and support payroll processing end-to-end.
- Ensure statutory and labour-law compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, professional tax, and related filings) and handle employee grievances with discretion and timely resolution.
- Draft and update HR policies, letters, and SOPs; keep the employee handbook current and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Support employee engagement activities, events, and internal communications.
- Handle employee queries on policies, benefits, and processes as a first point of contact.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards (headcount, attrition, onboarding TAT) for leadership.
- Coordinate with recruitment, finance, and IT for smooth pre- and post-joining processes.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to streamline HR documentation, reporting, and process efficiency.
- 2–7 years of experience in HR operations, HR generalist, or HR shared-services roles (IT/tech industry preferred), with proven end-to-end HR operations exposure.
- Hands-on experience with Keka is mandatory; familiarity with other HRMS/HRIS platforms (Zoho People, Darwinbox, GreytHR, etc.) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience creating new HR policies and updating existing ones is mandatory.
- Payroll processing experience (coordination or hands-on) is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, and handling employee grievances.
- Practical experience using AI tools (such as Claude) in day-to-day HR work is mandatory.
- Strong MS Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort with HR reporting.
- Excellent communication, discretion, and organizational skills.
- Exposure to a high-growth or startup environment.
- Familiarity with engagement, performance-cycle, or L&D coordination.
