- Preparation of manufacturing drawings and BOM
- Design modifications during assembly and FAT
- Cost reduction and design optimization initiatives
- The candidate must know below calculations -

- Cam mechanism selection
- Lead screw vs belt drive selection
- Chain vs timing belt selection
- Indexing mechanism selection
- Bearing selection (radial & axial load consideration)
- Coupling selection
- Pulley sizing
- Sprocket sizing
- Key & keyway strength consideration
