Mulesoft DevOps Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (Hybrid)

Availability: 15-30 days

Duration: Full Time

Working Hours: Australia Time Zone (4.30 am IST - 1.30pm IST)

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Mulesoft DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and performance of Mulesoft applications on Mulesoft cloud hub & on-prem. You will work closely with Mulesoft developers, leads, administrators, and other IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of Mulesoft applications.

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Deployment Management
  
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Mulesoft applications.
  
• Participating in deployment and Release Management processes/standards.
  
• Environment Management
  
• Manage multiple environments, including non-prod and production environments. Ensure proper configuration and synchronization between environments.
  
• Automation
  
• Automate repetitive tasks related to deployment, testing, and monitoring of Mulesoft applications.
  
• Monitoring and Performance
  
• Monitor pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, running health checks and continuously optimise deployment efficiency.
  
• Ensure to integrate with real-time observability and monitoring tools – Dynatrace, ELK, Datadog etc.
  
• Collaboration
  
• Work closely with Mulesoft developers, administrators, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and updates.
  
• Compliance and Security
  
• Ensure that all deployments comply with organizational policies and security guidelines.
  
• Documentation
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes, configurations, and environment setups.
  
• Continuous Improvement
  
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and reliability of Mulesoft DevOps operations.
  

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  
• Experience with AWS Cloud and Integration PaaS/SaaS services.
  
• Expertise in CI/CD principles, automation scripting and the ability to develop and support pipelines using YAML scripting for deployments using Azure DevOps workflows.
  
• Develop and deploy applications in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  
• Experience in build and maintain containerised apps in Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Hands-on experience with tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, Azure Devops, Git, SonarQube.
  
• Experience with Mulesoft platform application such as API Manager, API Exchange, API Design Centre, API Runtime, Any point Studio and Flex gateway.
  
• Familiar with API development lifecycle activities including API Design, Documentation, Unit testing, Deployment.
  
• Proficient in version control systems and branching strategies.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
