Technical Videography & Documentation Intern
Location: Hyderabad (Daily travel across project sites)

Duration: 3 Months (Internship)
Role Overview
The Technical Videography & Documentation Intern will be responsible for recording end-to-end product installation processes at customer sites using professional videography techniques. The role requires extensive field travel, close coordination with the project delivery team, and the ability to capture high-quality instructional content that can be transformed into learning modules.
This is not a social media content creation role. The focus is on producing clear, structured, and technically accurate learning content.
Key Responsibilities
Installation Documentation
- Visit project sites as per the assigned schedule.
- Record complete product installation processes from start to finish.
- Capture every minute installation step in a structured manner.
- Record multiple camera angles wherever necessary.
- Capture close-up shots of important installation techniques and components.
- Take high-quality photographs of completed installations and important milestones.
Videography & Photography
- Ensure videos are professionally shot with proper framing, stability, focus, and composition.
- Use appropriate lighting techniques to ensure clear visibility of installation procedures in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Capture high-quality visuals suitable for long-term training purposes.
- Record clear audio wherever required.
- Minimize background noise and visual distractions during recording.
Learning Content Support
- Organize recordings based on product, installation stage, and project location.
- Rename and archive files according to the defined documentation standards.
- Upload all raw footage and photographs to the organization's Knowledge Bank.
- Identify important installation tips, best practices, and common mistakes observed during recording.
- Maintain documentation for every installation completed.
Coordination
- Work closely with Projects team, Technicians, Site Supervisors, and the Learning & Development team.
- Coordinate recording schedules without disrupting installation activities.
- Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained before recording at customer locations.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure every installation video is:
- Well-lit
- Stable
- Clearly audible (wherever required)
- Properly framed
- Technically complete
- Verify that no important installation step has been missed before leaving the project site.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of photography and videography fundamentals.
- Knowledge of framing, camera angles, composition, focus, exposure, and camera movement.
- Good understanding of natural and artificial lighting techniques.
- Ability to shoot professional-quality instructional videos in different site conditions.
- Basic understanding of audio recording techniques.
- Knowledge of basic video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar tools will be an advantage.
Equipment Requirement
Candidates must own and be proficient in using their own professional photography/videography equipment, including:
- DSLR or Mirrorless Camera (preferred)
- High-quality smartphone capable of professional video recording (minimum requirement if DSLR/Mirrorless is unavailable)
- Tripod
- Gimbal/Stabilizer (preferred)
- External microphone (preferred)
- Portable lighting equipment (preferred)
Candidates should be comfortable carrying and using their own equipment during field visits.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in:
- Mass Communication
- Journalism
- Film Making
- Media Studies
- Photography
- Visual Communication
- Design
- Any discipline with proven videography experience
Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Candidate Profile

- Enjoys travelling and working on live project sites.
- Is comfortable interacting with technicians, engineers, and customers.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understands how to create instructional content rather than cinematic or promotional videos.
- Is proactive, organized, and dependable.
- Is physically comfortable working outdoors and at active installation sites.
Success Metrics
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Number of installations documented.
- Completeness and technical accuracy of recordings.
- Video quality (lighting, framing, stability, focus, and audio).
- Organization and timely submission of content.
- Compliance with documentation standards.
- Feedback from the Project delivery, Design, and L&D teams.
