Job Summary

The Business Development Manager drives revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the education sector. The role focuses on building client relationships, promoting Employee Assistance Program (EAP) solutions, and achieving sales targets through strategic partnerships and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential enterprise clients and industry trends.
  • Generate and qualify leads within target organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (HR, leadership teams,etc.).
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements.
  • Develop and deliver customized presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with clients.
  • Manage and track sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, delivery, operations) for successful execution.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and networking forums.
  • Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Postgraduate / MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales, business development, and B2B sales processes.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools, sales pipeline management, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, identify business opportunities, and successfully close deals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to client needs.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and result orientation.
  • Intermediate product knowledge with the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to prospective clients.
