Role

As a Drafting Engineer – Mechanical, you shall be able to do:

The basic Mechanical component and assembly design in any 2D or 3D CAD tool with proper tolerancing, dimensioning and manufacturability.
Define the parts and its clearances for manufacturing
Able to derive 2D to 3D and 3D to 2D models based on the manufacturing requirements.
Ability to define and adapt GD&T as per the process and tool.

Responsibilities

As a Drafting Engineer – Mechanical, you shall:

Perform drafting and design of components and assemblies of circuit breaker.
Assign GD&T, ISO GPS, etc.,
Understand and define the manufacturing tolerances and clearances of HVCB parts

Desirable Qualification

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 Years of experience in design involving 2D and 3D modelling of parts and assemblies.
Proficiency in drafting tools such as CREO, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA etc.,
Good knowledge on GD&T, ISO GPS.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional team to guide and support them on basic clarifications regarding product and tests.
