About The Position
We are looking for a Marketing & Project Coordinator to support the team acrosscontent, campaign planning, social media, project coordination, and marketing execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, curious, creative, and comfortablemoving between writing, coordination, content gathering, task follow-up, and marketingproduction support.
Roughly half of the role will focus on social media, content, and campaign support. Theother half will supportproject coordination, internal follow-ups, meeting notes, asset gathering, and marketing production tasks.
This is a growth role. The right person could grow into more project ownership over time,but they should not be expected to independently manage complex or sensitive projectsright away.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Content Support
- Support campaign plans, content plans,and marketing execution documents.
- Help draft or organize scripts, socialcopy, campaign copy, email copy, andcontent outlines.
- Gather inputs from clients, internal teammembers, existing materials, andAI-supported workflows.
- Support “What We Heard” reports,campaign summaries, simple decks,and presentation materials.
- Help turn strategy or meeting notes intopractical campaign tasks.
- Support internal Mammoth marketingwhere needed.
- Help create, schedule, and publishsocial media content for Mammoth andassigned clients.
- Support social calendars, contentcalendars, posting schedules, andapproval workflows.
- Draft captions, gather assets, organizecontent, and prepare posts for review.
- Monitor assigned channels and flagcomments, risks, or engagementopportunities.
- Support basic social reporting andperformance tracking.
- Research trends, formats, examples,and content ideas.
- Support Amanda, the PM hire, andproject teams with coordination tasks.
- Prepare meeting notes, action items,and follow-ups.
- Keep project tasks updated in Asana.
- Follow up on missing assets, feedback,approvals, and deadlines.
- Help organize project files and workingdocuments.
- Support small deliverables, campaignpieces, and production tasks.
- Help ensure internal team membershave the information they need to movework forward.
- Help coordinate creative, content,video, web, and social deliverables.
- Support basic copywriting and contentpreparation for print and digitalmaterials.
- Assist with QA/proofing for clarity,accuracy, and completeness.
- Support content shoots, localactivations, and boots-on-the-groundproduction needs where appropriate.
- Help prepare materials for internalreviews and client reviews.
- Use AI tools responsibly to supportbrainstorming, outlining, drafting,research, and organization.
- Help improve repeatable workflows forcampaign planning, social content, andproject coordination.
- Bring forward practical ideas forimproving efficiency and quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Interest or experience in marketing,communications, social media, content,project coordination, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communicationskills.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- Comfort managing multiple tasks andshifting priorities.
- Ability to take feedback and improvequickly.
- Comfort working with social mediaplatforms and digital tools.
- Ability to turn messy information intoorganized next steps.
- A good eye for detail.
- Willingness to ask questions beforegoing too far in the wrong direction.
- Ability to work well with creative,strategic, and technical team members.
- Ability to work from the Whitehorseoffice at least 3 days per week.
- Experience creating content forInstagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok,or other platforms.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe tools,Google Workspace, or similar tools.
- Experience with Asana or other projectmanagement software.
- Experience with Webflow, Mailchimp,Typeform, Google Analytics, or socialscheduling tools.
- Experience with basic reporting,analytics, or digital campaign tracking.
- Experience working with clients,community organizations, events,tourism, non-profits, or smallbusinesses.
- Interest in AI tools and how they cansupport marketing workflows.
- Experience working in the Yukon oracross Canada’s North.
