Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program / Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale cloud transformation and Generative AI initiatives. This role requires a technically strong program manager who can drive enterprise-scale AWS and AI programs while coordinating multiple workstreams, managing financials, mitigating risks, and aligning business and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering complex enterprise cloud projects involving AWS, AI/ML, system integrations, and cross-functional teams. Experience working with regulated industries such as Defense, BFSI, Healthcare, or Public Sector is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale AWS cloud migration, modernization, and Generative AI programs.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, governance, and delivery strategy.
- Manage multiple concurrent programs across distributed teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Own project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project financial health, utilization, burn rate, and profitability.
- Prepare executive dashboards, KPI reports, RAID logs, and governance updates.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and project documentation.
- Translate business objectives into actionable technical workstreams.
- Coordinate with Solution Architects, Cloud Engineers, Data Scientists, and Security teams.
- Manage enterprise AWS migration and modernization projects.
- Lead delivery of Gen AI initiatives including LLM applications, RAG solutions, AI Assistants, Knowledge Management, and Cognitive Search.
- Coordinate AI solution deployment across data engineering, ML engineering, and cloud infrastructure teams.
- Understand AWS architectural patterns and cloud-native services to effectively drive technical discussions.
- Serve as the primary delivery contact for enterprise clients.
- Conduct steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and program governance sessions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations across business and technology teams.
- Drive communication across distributed global teams.
- Manage enterprise integration projects involving APIs, SaaS applications, ERP platforms, and cloud services.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Track dependencies, risks, and project KPIs using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Salesforce.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise technology programs.
- Proven experience delivering AWS cloud transformation projects.
- Experience leading Generative AI or AI/ML implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Experience managing enterprise system integrations.
- Strong business analysis and requirement documentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar enterprise PM tools.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning experience.
- Experience managing globally distributed technical teams.
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Defense, Government, BFSI, Healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of LLMs, RAG architecture, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and Cognitive Search.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Cloud Security.
- Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon OpenSearch, Lambda, ECS, EKS, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Exposure to Agile at Scale (SAFe) is a plus.
