Job Description

Applies deep technical expertise across technical domains to provide guidance to customers. Provides mentorship in areas of technical expertise across Oracle technologies, products, services, and best practices. Coordinates resources to introduce optimizations (e.g., automation) into solutions and technical delivery, including business leads and angle of approach in leads generation portal. Acts as an internal and/or external escalation point for critical technical issues and provides proactive and reactive technical assistance in close cooperation with Support and Product Development teams for problem analysis and investigation. Assists customers with complex software updates, upgrades, configuration, and incident remediation and educates and guides others to educate customers on product features, upgrades, and best practices. Generates and maintains customer deliverables and documentation for new technologies or customized solutions to help customers with implementation. Performs complex technical analysis and complex problem analysis and investigation, providing documented technical solutions ready for customers to implement, test, and maintain. Leads collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technical deliverables with project goals. Delivers presentations and leads client consultation on solutions across multiple workstreams or domains.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Should have prior experience in project management with below skills (Support Engagement Preferred)-

  • Resource Management: Effective team management with work assignments and getting results.
    • Customer Management: Manage customer expectations and deliver the output
    • Escalation Management: Manage escalations with customer or internal organization and mitigate the critical situations.
    • Inter-team coordination: Able to communicate and drive discussions with multiple cross-functional teams.
    • Incident and Problem Management: Effectively manage Application support projects with daily operations.
    • Change and Release Management: Assess product upgrades, patches, customer change requests to estimate and deliver the solution.
    • Status reporting: Able to prepare status report of projects/ critical tasks to targeted audience and drive the meetings.
    • Presentation skills: Should have good presentation skills, able to derive insightful metrics.
Mandatory Skills:

  • Should have more than 10 years of Oracle ERP experience.
  • Should have more than 3 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion experience in Functional/Technical roles (at least one track – FIN/SCM/HCM or FMW)
  • Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Should have critical thinking capabilities , ability to guide the team to provide solutions and also resolve issues
  • Candidate should have positive attitude and learning capability to pick up any new functionality apart from the modules he/she is aware.
  • Candidate is expected to work in support model
  • Candidate should have ability to drive continuous improvements and innovations with new technology
