About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Due Diligence (FDD) Analyst (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on financial due diligence, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), transaction advisory, quality of earnings (QoE), financial statement analysis, business performance evaluation, and AI-generated financial content evaluation.

In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated due diligence reports, financial analyses, transaction models, quality of earnings assessments, working capital analyses, and financial documentation. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for transaction advisory, investment analysis, and corporate finance.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance, M&A, or Audit with due diligence exposure.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing real-world financial due diligence and transaction advisory scenarios.
• Review AI-generated due diligence reports, financial analyses, transaction summaries, investment memoranda, management reports, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate company financial performance, revenue trends, profitability, cash flow, debt position, normalized EBITDA, and working capital adjustments.
• Verify AI-generated recommendations regarding financial risks, accounting adjustments, earnings sustainability, and transaction considerations.
• Assess AI-generated deliverables for completeness, consistency, accuracy, and investment readiness.
• Identify financial risks, accounting anomalies, unusual transactions, reporting inconsistencies, and operational red flags.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in transaction advisory, financial analysis, and due diligence.
• Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), M&A Advisory, Corporate Finance, Audit, or Deal Advisory.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Performing buy-side or sell-side financial due diligence.
• Reviewing financial statements and accounting records.
• Preparing due diligence reports and financial summaries.
• Identifying financial risks and key transaction issues.
• Reviewing AI-generated financial analyses and transaction documentation.
• Familiarity with valuation methodologies, purchase price allocation, deal structuring, and financial modeling is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical thinking, financial reasoning, report writing, and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate financial information objectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Big Four firms (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG), transaction advisory firms, investment banks, private equity firms, corporate development teams, consulting firms, or multinational corporations.
• Experience supporting buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements across industries.
• Experience evaluating AI-generated financial reports, due diligence documentation, financial models, accounting analyses, or investment recommendations.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, AI-assisted financial analysis, AI benchmarking, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), financial copilots, or intelligent document analysis is highly desirable.
