QA Engineer – Mobile (Manual Testing)

InstaVision Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer specializing in Mobile Application Testing to ensure the quality and performance of our Android & iOS applications. Having experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger. You will play a critical role in delivering seamless user experiences by identifying bugs, validating features, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end manual testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms
Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
Conduct Functional, Regression, Network, Compatibility, UX, Usability, and Exploratory testing
Validate UI/UX consistency across different devices, OS versions, and screen sizes
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA reviews
Ensure product quality before releases by performing pre-release validations
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in Manual QA with mobile application testing
Strong experience testing on Android and iOS devices
Solid understanding of mobile app lifecycle and testing methodologies
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman is a plus)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good to Have
Basic understanding of mobile automation tools (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of performance or security testing
