Amazon Leo Global Contract to Cash (GC2C) drives Amazon Leo’s commercial success by delivering

excellence across the contract-to-cash lifecycle. The team transforms customer commitments into

realized revenue. We onboard contracts, process orders and ensure accurate billing. The team then

manages timely collections and posting of payments to maintain healthy cash flow, while partnering with Accounting and Finance for month-end reconciliation. Our team combines operational expertise with product-centric thinking. We optimize our operations using data and work with our partners to expedite cash flow for Amazon Leo’s sustained growth.

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving excellence and operational efficiency? Amazon Leo is seeking a Manager III, Sales Operations to join our high-performing Global Contract to Cash (GC2C) team focused on Contract Onboarding and Billing Operations. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless and efficient contract onboarding processes and accurate billing operations for our customers, ultimately contributing to their success and satisfaction.

You will oversee the end-to-end contract onboarding lifecycle and billing operations—ensuring that customer contracts are accurately onboarded, billing artifacts are generated correctly, disputes are resolved promptly, and invoices are delivered on time. You will drive operational excellence across the billing cycle, partnering with FinOps, Accounting, and Engineering teams to maintain billing accuracy, support month-end reconciliation, and continuously improve the customer billing experience.

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Onboarding and Hiring: Establish customized onboarding plans for new team members. Attract and hire top talent that enhances team capabilities.

Delight our Customers: Evaluate mechanisms against desired objectives, drive regular enhancements, and participate in ongoing dive deeps to ensure that we keep raising the bar on timely and accurate contract onboarding and billing operations.

Contract Onboarding and Billing Operations

Contract Onboarding Management: Own the end-to-end contract onboarding process for B2B customers with Private Pricing Addendums (PPAs), ensuring all contractual terms are accurately captured in the contract repository for downstream billing systems.

Billing Accuracy and Timeliness: Own the billing operations workflow, ensuring invoices are generated accurately and delivered on time. Monitor billing KPIs and drive accountability across the team.

Dispute Resolution and Credits: Oversee the dispute resolution process in partnership with FinOps, manage the Credit and Rebill process, and ensure Tax Exemption refunds are processed correctly.

Month-End Close: Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to support accruals submission, revenue reconciliation, and billing audit activities during month-end close.

Billing Escalations: Own escalation paths for critical contract onboarding and billing issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Process Automation: Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify automation opportunities in contract onboarding and billing workflows, submit requirements, and drive implementation to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

Scope and Influence

Roadmap Influence: Influence your team’s roadmap, reach consensus on approaches, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Mentorship: Act as a mentor, primarily for roles similar to those of your reports, helping them grow and succeed.

A day in the life

A typical day involves a blend of strategic planning, team management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will start with regular team meetings to align on priorities and address any blockers. Spend time analyzing contract onboarding and billing metrics to identify areas for improvement and discuss these findings in cross-functional meetings with Sales, Legal, Finance, FinOps, and other partner teams. Review billing accuracy dashboards and escalation queues to ensure timely resolution of disputes. Stay in touch with direct reports to provide feedback and dedicate time for mentorship. Plan for future improvements to enhance customer billing experience, identifying and resolving bottlenecks by closely partnering with Engineering Teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of people management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in people management
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tool
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing business processes
  • Experience in multiple organizational functions such as compensation, forecasting or organizational development
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
  • Master's degree or equivalent
