Job Summary
The State Head will be responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, dealer/distributor development, team management, and business profitability for the Particle Board Division across the assigned territory. The role requires strong leadership, channel management expertise, and the ability to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and revenue targets for the assigned state/territory.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and business growth.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and key influencers.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends and provide actionable insights.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional and marketing activities.
- Review sales forecasts, business plans, and territory performance regularly.
- Maintain healthy receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless operations.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, sales reviews, and business updates to management.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in Sales, preferably in Building Materials, Plywood, Laminates, MDF, Particle Board, Paints, or related industries.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a leadership/team-handling role.
