What Will Your Role Look Like

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex production issues through detailed application log analysis and SQL performance tuning.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of production systems and minimize downtime.
  • Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities following ITIL best practices.
  • Drive root cause analysis and ensure long-term fixes for recurring issues.
  • Provide support during EST timezone and ensure timely response to business-critical escalations.

We Would Like You To Bring Along

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
  • Expertise in designing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated experience in application log analysis and debugging at database level.
  • Deep understanding of production support processes aligned with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively in EST timezone.

Good-to-have Skills

  • Exposure to Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation of database tasks.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar).
  • Knowledge of data migration or ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
