You will be responsible for driving the design, validation, and integration of strategic product initiatives with the Data Transformation Programme’s wider strategy and roadmap. Your work will ensure that data product design supports our businesses and service lines, analytics use cases, and long-term scalability, balancing immediate delivery needs with future extensibility.
This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong ownership of data modelling, backlog delivery, architecture alignment, and UAT, working closely with data governance, data architecture, and engineering teams. You will report to the Director for Data Transformation and play a central role in establishing a scalable, governed foundation for the organisation’s analytics and client-facing products.
What the job involves:Initially reporting to the Director of Data Transformation, you will:

· Lead UAT execution across Service Lines, defining test approaches, coordinating stakeholders, managing defect triage, and driving rapid iteration.
· Lead the integration of strategic product initiatives into the Databricks data platform, working closely with data architects and engineers to translate product requirements into scalable data models, and actively contributing to architecture decisions and trade-offs.
· Work with the Data Architect and Data Engineer to translate conceptual designs into practical data model implementations, defining how data is ingested, transformed, and made available for downstream use.
· Define and manage how the end-to-end data lifecycle is applied across strategic product initiatives, ensuring consistency, traceability, and integrity from ingestion through to analytics and client delivery.
· Partner with the Data Governance Manager and broader transformation teams to validate data flows and mappings, align with governance and architecture frameworks, and drive cross-functional alignment across data stewards, engineering, and business stakeholders.
· Drive adoption of data and analytics products ensuring stakeholders are engaged, outputs are validated, and the platform becomes embedded in day-to-day data workflows.

· You can demonstrate a proven ability to own and drive delivery in complex, ambiguous environments, balancing competing priorities and making informed trade-offs.
· You have hands-on experience working with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar, and understand how data is structured, processed, and consumed at scale.
· You possess a strong working understanding of data modelling principles and are comfortable translating conceptual structures into practical implementations within data platforms.
· You can operate effectively across different levels of abstraction, moving between high-level conceptual design and detailed execution as required.
· You have experience managing and prioritising a complex product backlog, ensuring a consistent flow of well-defined work through the development lifecycle.
