Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive reliability plans, including reliability test protocols (ALT, HALT, DVP&R) and acceptance criteria tailored to automotive and EV systems.
  • Conduct reliability analysis to identify failure modes, trends, risks, and design weaknesses.
  • Analyze test data statistically (e.g., Weibull, regression) and produce clear, actionable reports.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and preventive design changes in collaboration with design and manufacturing teams.
  • Build tools for reliability calculations and reliability models.
  • Develop and maintain reliability dashboards, KPIs (MTBF, MTTF, Failure Rates) and predictive models to inform decisions.

Ideal Candidate

  • This position will contribute towards the assurance of the standard of our vehicle systems and parts in terms of durability, robustness, safety, and field performance during the lifecycle of the product. It is an analytical position with cross-functional work and the promotion of constant changes aimed at achieving product reliability and customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Reliability, or related engineering discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in reliability engineering, automotive systems, test engineering, or similar roles (experience with EV systems is a strong plus).
  • Strong understanding of ML models and image analysis.
  • Hands on experience in fixture design, lab automation with IoT and pneumatic actuators.
  • Strong understanding of reliability principles, failure mechanisms, test design, FMEA, and RCA.
  • Proficiency in statistical/data analysis with Python.
  • Hands-on experience in Item Toolkit and Minitab is an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
