Product Designer
GeoIQ
Responsibilities
- Own design problems end-to-end from framing the problem and exploring concepts through to shipping and iterating post-launch.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile that make complex workflows feel effortless.
- Partner with product managers early to help define the problem, not just execute a spec, and work as a thought partner across product and engineering on tradeoffs and sequencing.
- Build and evolve GeoIQ's design system so our products stay visually consistent and coherent as they scale.
- Use usability testing, analytics, and user feedback to validate decisions and continuously refine your designs.
- Use AI tools to speed up ideation, prototyping, and iteration, from generating design variations to accelerating research synthesis and documentation.
- Bring a strong point of view on UX, accessibility, and visual craft, balancing user needs with technical constraints and business goals.
- 4+ years of experience in product/UX design, with a solid portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped products and strong problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping/whiteboarding tools.
- Comfort using AI-assisted design and productivity tools as part of your everyday workflow.
- Solid grounding in UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility best practices.
- A sharp eye for typography, layout, and visual detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to present and defend design decisions independently across cross-functional teams.
- Available to join early/immediately.
- Experience with map-based or data visualisation products.
- Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) to collaborate effectively with engineering.
- Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite for supporting graphic/brand needs.
