Your Role
- Senior Supply Chain Planner responsible for end-to-end planning and procurement of raw materials and production-critical resources to ensure manufacturing runs smoothly, on time, and in full.
- Drive Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to balance demand, capacity, and material availability.
- Manage global inventory targets aligned with supply chain objectives, including safety stock, reorder points, and working capital optimization.
- Act as a key business partner across Operations, Quality, Customer Service, and Commercial teams through Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Apply a data-driven approach to identify supply risks, assess scenarios, and implement mitigation and contingency plans; manage constrained material allocations.
- Design, test, and deploy Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mappings to support interplant supply chain transactions and data flows.
- Coordinate Just-in-Time (JIT) raw material deliveries and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain flow and reduce obsolescence.
- Contribute to SAP system migrations and upgrades, including requirements gathering, testing, and change management to minimize disruption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Science, Commerce, Operations, Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10 or more years of experience in manufacturing planning, encompassing inventory management, purchasing, and production scheduling.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules; familiarity with SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) or SAP Business Intelligence (BI) is an advantage.
- Proven ability to execute and review MPS/MRP cycles, convert planned orders, and manage capacity and supply elements in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) flows for interplant order transactions, including unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing cycles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large, complex data sets to assess supply risk, prioritise actions, and support decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally within an S&OP process, integrating sales forecasts into operational planning.
- Business-proficient in English; APICS certification or equivalent supply chain qualification is an advantage.
