Role Definition: The SPPID Designer creates and modifies intelligent P&IDs based on engineering markups. This role requires strong proficiency in SmartPlant P&ID software and a meticulous adherence to the company's high P&ID drafting standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Project Execution & High-Standard Drafting

  • SPPID Execution: Execute high-quality drafting, modification, and finalization of SmartPlant P&IDs based on Project engineering instructions, markups, and corporate design standards.
  • Database & Graphic Accuracy: Ensure high technical accuracy of graphics and intelligent data attributes within the project, SPPID environment.
  • Change Management: Efficiently incorporate design changes and engineering redlines while maintaining strict drawing consistency and client compliance, using Bluebeam.
  • Data Integrity: Support routine data consistency checks, quality audits, and design reviews to minimize database errors based on instruction.

Interface, Quality & Support

  • Technical Alignment: Coordinate with Designers & engineers teams to clarify drafting inputs, requirements, and design workflows.
  • Process Compliance: Adhere strictly to project-specific work/drafting instructions, tagging conventions, and quality checklists.
  • Quality Assurance : Maintain quality control over personal deliverables.
