Maintenance Technician

- Ensure all facilities, utilities, and mechanical equipment are maintained in optimal operating condition through an effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
- Minimize equipment downtime and facility disruptions by providing timely maintenance and repair services.
- Support efficient procurement and maintenance planning through accurate processing of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receiving.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure cleaning, security, and other facility services meet established KPIs and contractual requirements.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment by adhering to NOV HSE policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs for facility infrastructure, including building works, HVAC systems, electrical systems, fire protection systems, security access systems, landscaping, pest control, and other facility assets using the Max-Maintenance Portal.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for mechanical equipment such as overhead cranes, welding machines, forklifts, air compressors, and related equipment to ensure operational reliability.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform or coordinate repairs for building fixtures, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems across offices, workshops, warehouses, and all three NOV facilities.
- Process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Purchase Order Receiving to support maintenance and facility operations.
- Assist in supervising outsourced cleaning and security contractors, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contract requirements.
- Provide operational support and backup coverage for the Facilities Department during staff absences or peak workload periods.
- Carry out additional facility-related duties and special assignments as required to support business operations.
- Ensure full compliance with NOV Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or the equivalent with an electrical C-License.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy machinery environment.
- Able to read technical drawings/manual to carry out maintenance work independently.
- Good written & communication skills
- Able to commit to overtime work
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Familiar with HSE regulations and practices
