ROLE PURPOSE

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for end-to-end inventory and warehouse

management covering Fabric, Cutting WIP, Sewing WIP, Finished Goods, Packing

Materials, and Sewing Accessories. The role will ensure inventory accuracy, smooth

material flow, ERP discipline, warehouse efficiency, and effective inventory control across

the production process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Track and maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory across Fabric, WIP, FG,

Packing Materials, and Sewing Accessories.

● Manage warehouse operations and lead a team of 4+ members, ensuring proper

allocation of responsibilities and process discipline.

● Ensure timely and accurate Odoo ERP entries for receipts, issues, transfers,

returns, stock adjustments, GRN, and deliveries.

● Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical vs. ERP reconciliation

and investigate inventory variances.

● Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) across applicable inventory and ensure proper

material identification, storage, and traceability.

● Monitor and maintain Safety Stock Levels for critical materials and proactively

highlight shortages to prevent production disruption.

● Maintain smooth inline supply-chain/material flow from Fabric → Cutting → Sewing

→ FG → Packing/Dispatch and monitor WIP at each stage.

● Prepare inventory ageing reports and monitor slow-moving, non-moving, excess,

and obsolete stock.

● Handle inventory costing and valuation and coordinate with Accounts/Finance for

reconciliation.

● Manage scrap inventory, including recording, reconciliation, storage, reporting, and

disposal documentation.

● Implement and maintain 5S standards in warehouse and inventory areas to ensure

organized, safe, and efficient operations.

● Prepare inventory MIS and analytical reports using ERP, Excel, and Google Sheets

and highlight discrepancies, shortages, excess inventory, and other exceptions.

● Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, Accounts, and other

departments for effective inventory and material management.

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

● 4–6 years of relevant Inventory/Warehouse experience.

● Experience with ERP software is mandatory; Odoo experience preferred.

● Good knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.

● Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

● Knowledge of FIFO, Safety Stock, 5S, inventory ageing, costing, auditing, GRN

and material movement.

● Strong understanding of warehouse and manufacturing inventory processes.

● Good team-building and team-handling skills.

● Should be responsible, process-oriented, and capable of taking complete ownership

of inventory operations.

● Garment/Textile manufacturing experience will be preferred.
