Position Summary
The DevOps System Administrator supports client platforms across web technologies, hosting, systems, applications, middleware, databases, networks, monitoring, configuration management, release management, and Infrastructure as Code. The role focuses on platform performance, reliability, and availability
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure, reliable deployments
- Execute operations and planned service requests in line with procedures
- Manage events, incidents, and configuration requests through resolutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and automate recurring fix,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support effective delivery.
- Continuously build technical knowledge to improve service quality.
- Work EMEA hours: 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM IST.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in DevOps, systems engineering, system administration, or a similar technical operations role.
- Shell Scripting: Advanced Bash/shell scripting for automation, administration, and monitoring.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network issues using standard Linux tools.
- Networking: Understanding of Linux networking, routing, DNS, and firewall tools.
- Configuration Management: Experience managing server configuration at scale using Puppet.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- DevOps Toolchain: Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate, RHCSA, RHCE, or LFCS.
- Familiarity with database management and network security concepts.
As a member of frontline customer support, you will work in a full DevOps environment. The performance and availability of the platforms are at the center of your mission. You will work as a DevOps System Administrator on clients’ projects with a complete technical ecosystem related to Web technologies (application engines, webserver, databases, network, etc.) and hosting (monitoring, code management, configuration and release management, IaaC, etc...).
You’ll receive the training needed to become a true jack-of-all-trades, capable of quickly and independently handling issues related to systems, applications, middleware, databases, and networks.
