Producer: Post Production

WTF

Company: WTF Global Pvt LTD.

Location: Bengaluru

Title: Producer: Post Production

Role Type: Full Time, In-office.

Experience: 4-6 Years

About Us:

WTF is a new-age media company crafting compelling narratives that resonate with India's digitally empowered and culturally vibrant youth. By blending authenticity, humor, and fresh perspectives, we create content that sparks meaningful conversations and challenges the status quo.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Production Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of WTF's podcast and content slate. From shoot handover to publish, you'll be the single point of accountability for whether an episode ships on time, meets our quality bar, and holds up factually. You'll work closely with the creative, editorial, design, and social teams, and manage a bench of external editors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Podcast Production & Post-Production:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of every episode against the release calendar.
  • Manage the shoot-to-publish pipeline: ingest, edit cycles, reviews, approvals, and upload.
  • Maintain creative sheets for every episode as the single source of truth.
  • Anticipate and escalate calendar risks before they become delays.

2. Quality Control & Content Accuracy:

  • Serve as final QC sign-off on all published content - audio, video, graphics, captions, metadata.
  • Complete fact-checking on every episode prior to publishing.
  • Coordinate with research and creative teams to validate claims, figures, and context.
  • Maintain and consistently apply the QC checklist.

3. Vendor & External Editor Management:

  • Issue clear, complete briefs with timelines and references for every project.
  • Hold vendors and freelance editors to commit delivery dates.
  • Reduce rework by eliminating briefing ambiguity.
  • Build accountable, long-term vendor relationships.

4. Live Events & Special Projects:

  • Support planning and execution of WTF Tour events within assigned scope.
  • Deliver event post-production assets on schedule - aftermovies, clips, promos.
  • Run the Hindi dub pipeline end to end, including pending legacy commitments.
  • Maintain proper archival and asset management across all language variants.

5. Systems & Coordination:

  • Keep the post-production tracker current with real-time status, blockers, and timelines.
  • Ensure timely alignment with creative, design, social, and comms teams.
  • Take full ownership of deliverables with no follow-up dependency.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years in video/podcast production, post-production management, or content operations.
  • Proven ownership of a recurring publishing calendar with hard release dates.
  • Hands-on experience managing external editors, studios, and vendors.
  • Familiarity with YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts publishing specs and metadata.
  • Comfort with project tracking tools (Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Google Sheets).
  • Sharp eye for detail and the ability to write briefs that don't generate follow-up questions.
  • Composure under compressed, high-pressure timelines.
  • Discretion and professionalism around high-profile guests and confidential material.

Bonus:

  • Experience with dubbing, localisation, or multilingual content pipelines.
  • Previous experience in podcasts, digital media, or live event production.
  • A passion for storytelling, digital content, and youth culture.
