Senior Software Engineer

Swish is building a new-age food delivery and operations company focused on speed, execution, customer experience, and scale. As we expand across new markets, categories, and business opportunities, we are looking for engineers to build the technology that powers this high-scale operation — from customer experience and ordering to kitchens, fulfilment, and last-mile delivery.

About the Role

We’re looking for Senior Software Engineers who can independently own complex engineering problems and build reliable, scalable systems.

You’ll work closely with product, design, business, and operations teams to solve problems across the customer, kitchen, fulfilment, and delivery experience.

At Swish, engineers are expected to go beyond writing code. You’ll be involved in understanding the problem, making technical decisions, building the solution, and measuring its impact.

What You’ll Do

• Own and deliver complex features and projects end-to-end.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems.
• Work closely with product and business teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Make sound architectural and technology decisions while balancing speed and scalability.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance, reliability, and observability.
• Review code and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the overall engineering quality of the team.
• Take ownership of technical initiatives and drive them from idea to production.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Strong experience with backend, frontend, mobile, or full-stack development depending on the role.
• Experience building and operating production-grade applications.
• Good understanding of APIs, databases, distributed systems, and system design.
• Ability to independently break down ambiguous problems and drive them to completion.
• Strong ownership and bias toward action.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
