Brief Job Description:

Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring projects from initiation to completion while ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute project activities as per customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
  • Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies.
  • Manage project documentation, including drawings, reports, and handover documents.
  • Coordinate material availability, logistics, and site resources.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed as per approved specifications.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to management and customers.
  • Support warranty, snag-list closure, and post-installation activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience in electrical infrastructure, UPS systems, data centers, or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and MS Office.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

This description is particularly suitable for a Project Engineer handling UPS systems, electrical power solutions, installation, commissioning, and customer handover activities.
