Mandatory Skills- C++ / VC++, proficient, Debugging & Shell Scripting

C++ / VC++

.Strong fundamentals (memory management, debugging, STL)
.Ability to read and modify legacy enterprise systems
.Windows-based development & troubleshooting
Basic scripting (PowerShell / Shell)

Test Automation Skills

Automation mindset (Non-negotiable)
Experience with Ranorex / Selenium / any UI automation tool

Understanding Of

Object repository

Element identification (XPath, UI mapping)

Test case design & modularization

System Understanding & Debug Capability

Ability to:
Analyze logs (event logs, system logs)
Troubleshoot production-like issues
Basic understanding of:
Enterprise monitoring tools (like Systemwalker – can be trained)
Strong problem-solving approach (root cause thinking)

Communication (Especially for Japan Coordination)

Clear and structured communication
Basic understanding of writing status updates and explaining issues with evidence.

Automation Framework Thinking

1.Designing reusable test modules

Release / Production Awareness
