Weʼve been at it for over 5 years now, and weʼve serviced over 50 happy customers around the world, while also building several in-house micro-SaaS tools for the market (all of this while being bootstrapped and profitable). About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer at Foxsense Innovations, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our software development and deployment processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our systems, enabling faster and more efficient delivery of software solutions.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Implement and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of infrastructure components.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Streamline and optimize build and deployment workflows with development teams.
- Manage and configure application servers, databases, and infrastructure using tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Ensure consistency and reliability across various environments.
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection.
- Set up logging infrastructure for efficient troubleshooting and analysis.
- Bridge the gap between development and IT operations through effective collaboration.
- Provide technical support to ensure smooth production system operations.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (certifications are a bonus).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong technical portfolio.
- Familiarity with advanced security practices for cloud-based systems.

First 30 days : Onboarding and Integration
- Complete the onboarding process and familiarize yourself with our tools and workflows.
- Review the existing infrastructure and identify areas for optimization.
- Work on a small-scale project to implement or improve a CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with teams to understand existing challenges and propose solutions.
- Take ownership of medium-sized infrastructure tasks, such as automating repetitive processes or enhancing monitoring solutions.
- Optimize build and deployment workflows in collaboration with the development team.
- Propose and begin implementing security enhancements.
- Share recommendations for improving the DevOps pipeline and processes.
