Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bareilly, focused on connecting Paanduv Applications’ technical capabilities with client needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging prospective and existing clients, understanding their technical requirements, and proposing appropriate computational software and consulting solutions. The role involves preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations, collaborating with engineering and consulting teams to develop solution proposals, and supporting the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through post-delivery follow-up. The Technical Sales Engineer will maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, contribute to sales forecasts, and help refine service offerings based on market feedback. This position requires regular coordination with internal technical experts and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in engineering, physics, or a related technical field, with the ability to understand and communicate complex computational and simulation concepts.
- Experience in technical or solution-based sales, including requirements gathering, proposal development, and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with industries such as Additive Manufacturing, Electric Vehicles, Data Centers, Chemical Engineering, Water and Environmental, Aerospace and Defense, Energy, Turbomachinery, Automotive, Mining, Microfluidics, Electronics, or Consumer Products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to documentation and follow-up.
- Ability to work on-site in Bareilly, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline; prior experience in technical consulting or software solutions is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, office productivity software, and basic data analysis to support sales planning and reporting.
