IN - NOVATEUR ELECTRICAL & DIGITAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (NEDS) is seeking an experienced professional to join our L7 - IN - INDOASIAN - Production Assembly department as an Assistant Manager for PCB Assembly (Through-hole). The successful candidate will manage and enhance PCB assembly operations, driving production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute daily/weekly production schedules for PCB assembly lines, ensuring adherence to targets and takt time.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality Control department to implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic production management strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with the PPC department to ensure seamless dispatch of finished goods, optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Minimize process rejections and loss of man-hours, aiming to keep rejection levels below defined targets.
  • Implement initiatives to achieve targeted levels of manpower efficiency within the production teams.
  • Champion and implement continuous improvement methodologies, including SGIA, Poka-yoke, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure all production team members adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead the team in achieving full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 guidelines and requirements.
  • Implement robust inventory management systems to optimize storage, minimize waste, and achieve desired inventory levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in the electronics/manufacturing industry, with expertise in PCB assembly (SMT + Through-hole).
  • Familiarity with IPC standards, particularly IPC-A-610.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment is preferred.
  • Highly proficient in MS-Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
