Copywriter

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and culturally aware Copywriter to lead content creation for social and digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of wrestling storylines, characters, fan culture, and trending conversations, with the ability to turn them into engaging content for audiences across the globe.

• Strong command of English and Tamil (Telugu will be an added advantage)
• Must have experience in Copywriting for Sports (Esp Wrestling)

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling copy for social media, campaigns, contests, and digital content.
• Track wrestling storylines, talent narratives, fan conversations, and cultural trends to identify content opportunities.
• Develop real-time and topical content that resonates with wrestling fans.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, and client teams to bring creative ideas to life.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute content-led campaign ideas.
• Ensure all communication aligns with brand guidelines and content restrictions.
• Proofread and maintain high standards of quality, tone, and accuracy.

Requirements

• Atleast 2 years of copywriting experience in a digital, social, or advertising agency.
• Strong command of English, Tamil and Telugu
• Deep interest in sports entertainment (esp wrestling), pop culture, and social media trends.
• Strong understanding of audience behavior across India and international markets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in creating social-first content and real-time marketing.
