Job Overview

The primary goal of an instrumentation engineer is to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and safety of equipment and processes by integrating and knowledge for various sensors, LT/PT/FT/TT/DPT transmitters, controllers, Gas Analyzers, Control valves, configuration, testing, installation, Basic of PLC /DCS/SCADA/HMI/VFD and Tender price support, Budgetary offers arrange, Part list Preparation, vendor Instruments comparison List, Third party inspection documentation and report Knowledge.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop instrumentation and control systems that meet specific project requirements. This includes selecting appropriate sensors, transmitters, valves, Gas analyzers and other components, P&ID, review.
  • Part lists create and review, Hook Up drawing review.
  • Close loop with vendor for Bought out Parts, Skid Walk through and testing Install, calibrate, and configure instrumentation devices. Ensure proper functionality and accuracy before commissioning the systems for regular operation, Site support activity.
  • Walkthrough of Project Skids and calibration activity make sure before dispatch and P&ID review and Markup.
  • Standard Known as, IEC,IS,ISO,ANSI,API,NFPA etc. Design review and Selection of Instruments as standard.
  • Hazardous area Classification and Zones understanding.
  • Work closely with other engineers, technicians, project managers, and clients to coordinate projects, address challenges, and ensure successful implementation of instrumentation solutions.
  • Ex-Product, Knowledge, following IS/IEC 80079-38, 60079-17 Standards, documentation and product testing.

Authorities

Supervision, Project management, Compliance, Troubleshooting, Inventory management, Reporting.

Ex-Products Authorize Person to lead product and development. (IS/IEC 80079-38,ISO 60079- 17,46,00,ISO16924, PESO, ATEX derivative

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop/ computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills.

  • 2-4 years of experience instrumentation & control.
  • Bachelor of Instrumentation and control or instrumentation and electrical Engineering. Oil and Gas or Chemical Industries experience with Skids and Manufacturing of Plant, Hazardous area Classification, Instrumentation, Documentation, Standards IEC, ISO,ANSI,API,NFPA
