Required Skills

Strong knowledge of mainframe storage concepts.
Hands on experience with IBM storage tools.
Familiarity with 3rd party tools: FDR/ABR, STOPX37, CA 1, CA Disk, EMC, etc.
Good analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities
Manage and support DASD & Tape storage systems.
Work with DFSMS, HSM, RMM, DFP, DSS, ICF Catalogs, VSAM, ICKDSF.
Handle ATL/VTS, SILOs, TS7700 environments.
Perform storage allocation, migration, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot storage issues and support backup/restore processes.
Work with reporting and capacity planning tools.
