Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Executive – Consulting Services to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll, statutory compliances, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Indian GAAP, accounting, taxation, payroll compliances, GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, FEMA, and financial reporting.

The role requires regular coordination with clients, auditors, vendors, employees, and internal teams while ensuring accurate financial records and timely completion of statutory and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Operations

  • Review accounting transactions in accordance with Indian GAAP and applicable accounting policies.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) and reconcile balances with the General Ledger.
  • Perform ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports for management review.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and assist in budgetary planning.
  • Handle vendor and employee accounting queries and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal and client teams for smooth financial operations.


Payroll Management

  • Manage monthly payroll processing and related accounting activities.
  • Ensure accurate payroll calculations and timely processing.
  • Manage payroll-related statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other applicable requirements.
  • Address employee payroll-related queries and coordinate for timely resolution.


Financial Reporting & Audit

  • Prepare and review annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records supporting financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors and provide required schedules, documents, and explanations.
  • Support the completion of Statutory Audit and Transfer Pricing Study.
  • Assist in resolving audit queries and implementing required corrections.


Tax & Statutory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit quarterly TDS returns within prescribed timelines.
  • Generate Form 16 and Form 16A as applicable.
  • Calculate quarterly Advance Tax and coordinate for timely payment.
  • Prepare and submit documentation related to GST Refund applications.
  • Manage applicable GST-related documentation and compliance activities.
  • Prepare and submit SOFTEX forms with STPI as required.
  • Prepare and submit Annual Returns under FEMA.
  • Monitor other applicable statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation for all compliance activities.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and Indian GAAP.
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, FEMA, and other statutory compliances.
  • Good understanding of payroll processing and financial reporting.
  • Experience in AR/AP management, ledger reconciliation, and MIS reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage statutory deadlines effectively.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, auditors, vendors, employees, and internal teams.


Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Com / M.Com from a recognized institution.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or consulting services.
  • Candidates with practical experience handling multiple accounting, payroll, taxation, and compliance activities will be preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting and statutory compliance processes.
  • Comfortable working directly at the client location.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned accounting and compliance activities.
  • Proactive approach toward identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional approach toward client and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Timing : 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM
