Job Summary
The Staff Technical Program Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of large-scale strategic programs across cross-function technology teams, from strategy definition and planning through execution.
In this role, you will balance the business needs versus technical constraints to deliver business benefits while contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship.
Essential Duties/Responsibilites
- Interact with cross-functional teams to lead strategic programs, establish resource estimations, design solution proposals, provide implementation documentation, and tracking timelines for delivery.
- Partner with business and technology leadership to establish a roadmap and vision, as well as expected business benefits of a program.
- Define and align metrics that align with company strategic objectives and goals
- Drive communication between technolgy and business partners to ensure successful implementations.
- Lead through influence across internal partners with competing prioirites to determine effective strategies to accomplish business objectives.
- Anticipate future consequences and trends, problem solving, and incorporate them into the project plans.
- Seek out continuous improvements to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Remain current with industry trends, certifications, and enhance knowledge and expertise within technology.
- Provide effective mentoring, coaching and support to colleagues to foster their growth and development.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent education and related training required
- Typically 12+ years experience in a technical program or project manager role, preferably in technology or software development with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services required
- Typically 6+ years. experience in Agile software delivery required
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred
- Advanced Sound business and technical knowledge
- Advanced Ability to manage multiple programs/projects and people orchestrating small to large scale projects to the technology teams across multiple time zones
- Advanced Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people
- Advanced Effective resource management and meeting facilitation skills
- Advanced Ability to create and track detailed project plans and drive project activities
- Advanced Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills; aptitude in logical and critical thinking
- Advanced Excellent communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills
- Advanced Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced Excellent attention to details and exceptional organizational skills
